We’re seeking a Sales Associate to join our team and play an important role in the company’s growth. Position Summary

This Sales Associate position is dedicated to new client lead generation. You are an expert in generating highly qualified leads in your assigned territory through various methods. You are outgoing, high energy, confident, persistent and resourceful. You will be a rural market expert with hunter-mentality and send prospects to the inside sales team for next steps. Calls will be done from our headquarters in St. Louis Park. The opportunity for advancement within our growing sales department is huge, as the demand for LocaLoop’s unique cloud based business invention is accelerating with year-over-year-growth.

Role Description

  • Initiate the sales process by researching, identifying and pre-qualifying prospects in assigned rural sales territories
  • Quickly establish decision maker and effectively explain the benefits of LocaLoop’s cloud-based wireless broadband Internet business opportunity versus existing old technology
  • Build call lists via Google, Yelp and Google earth tools
  • Build product and industry knowledge to identify gaps
  • Interact by phone, text, social media and email with rural business owners to pre-qualify leads
  • Hand over pre-qualified sales leads to inside sales for conference calls/webinars
  • Own and update database of contacts and accounts
  • Respond to and qualify incoming web and phone inquiries
  • Document daily activity
  • Nurture existing leads/accounts through targeted communications designed to increase customer interest and drive sales
  • Closely collaborate with marketing and sales to continuously fill the pipeline

Job Requirements

  • Preferred candidate will have at 3-5 years sales/telesales experience in a business to business environment
  • Rural market knowledge or experience from living in a small town is a plus
  • Passion for business and sales
  • Proficiency in use of Windows PC, Excel, Google Drive, Search, and Google Earth
  • Resourcefulness and a drive to succeed
  • Hunter mentality

  • LocaLoop is based in St. Louis Park, a suburb of Minneapolis / St. Paul metropolitan area.
